Below lies the archived history of Scribus Farsonas compilation of the worlds and conflicts of the Cathedra Sector
Noctura sits within the centre of the Cathedra Sector and is the most densely populated planet within the region. An urban hellscape but not a true hive world Noctura is a hub through which all trade flows within the sector. It boasts numerous mandeville points to the surrounding systems with near constant arrivals and departures of vessels.
The office of the Fronteris Corp has it’s marshalling yards and sector command upon one of Nocturas moons. From here the Fronteris Corp dispatches it various settlement squadrons and pathfinder patrols. The moons icy terrain makes the prospect of taking it from it’s dug in defenders a resource intensive task for the war masters hosts.
Slatis is not the largest city upon the service but is considered the most hardened to attack. When the warriors of the IV initially swept through the sector Slatis was the site of harvest of the cities young for replenishment of legion forces. This unenviable honour led to the legion devoting resources to the city to ensure their “Crops” would be safe in the future.
The combined loyalist offence on Noctura was typical of most urban campaigns. Armoured vehicles were destroyed at an alarming rate with grueling casualties for infantry forces as they pushed through city blocks. All loyalist legions within the sector would end up contributing forces to the task of liberating the world and taking control of its hub routes. Militia and Auxilia forces would make up the bulk of the Warmasters forces upon the world along with a Taghmata from Aralm. Cybernetica constructs would duel terminators in blasted warehouses and battle tanks edged down boulevards ever aware that every window could hide their doom.
The eventual seizing of the telepathica relay and vessel trajectory cogitatorium would end the resistance from many of the worlds defenders. Some cities such as Slatis would refuse to capitulate and would instead be blockaded the the loyalists assured that their threat contained.
The seizing of Nocturnal would mark a turning point for the loyalists forces in the conflict within the Cathedra sector. Its hub links would allow the loyalists to rapidly move their fleets and forces to combat the Traitors and would be a significant step on their path to victory.
It is whispered by some that the sudden cessation of broadcasts from the telepathica is what initially caused the Tyrant to turn it’s eye back to the sector. Perhaps the horror of the war’s later years would have been avoided if the world was blockaded rather taken.
Little is known of the worlds current state as the storm that engulfed the sector post heresy swallowed it whole. For now the world is marked as lost and its hub routes will now surely lead to madness and damnation
