Below lies the archived history of Scribus Farsonas compilation of the worlds and conflicts of the Cathedra Sector
Yakutak
Yakutak is designated a garrison planet, its role is to safe guard and police the adjacent systems. It is located in the Yalooshan system within the Cathedra sector. Early within the heresy its allegiance was in flux with various factions vying for control but ultimately no force would be able to seize the planet for themselves.
The planet itself is a harsh but temperature land, the majority of its land mass is made up of forested valleys and steppe hills. The planets cities are dull grey slabs of ferrocrete designed for utility alone, these cities
exists solely to arm the regiments raised from them and ensure they’re every material need is met.
Skjalos Forges
Dotted across the landscape lie vast ferrocrete and iron domes that contain the many foundries of the world within them. The myriad of vehicle types produced in these forges are comparable to the more traditional vehicles used by the greater imperium. The skjalos pattern vehicles are renowned for their hardy construction and boast advanced
construction speeds compared to many standard imperial vehicles.
The Mechanicum presence upon the world is minimal and the Skjalos patterns are met with derision for their simple design by adepts of the
machine cult.
Following the breaking of the Blood Angels at Belurat reports came in from Yakutak of Astartes making planetfall a Blood Angel’s patrol and corvette was dispatched to discover the truth of the situation. The patrol quickly realised that warriors of the Warmaster had established a foot hold and struck at a communication relay to delay further traitor landings. This surgical strike bought the loyalists time to bring the might of their own forces to bear to drive the traitors off.
Yakutak remains a lynchpin of the sectors defence post heresy with its regiments still using their locally patterned equipment although in lesser numbers than before. In recent years the world has fallen into a state of fervour following the emergence of a great philosopher from the nearby Korbelrok.
